ProFlex™ Nickle Titanium Wire

Wire is the key player in the movement of teeth, so choosing the right wire is critical for successful treatment. ODP offers a full range of wire types, sizes, and force values that are designed to reduce treatment time, minimize chair time, maximize patient comfort, and produce optimal treatment results.

ODP’s ProFlex™ is our premier brand super-elastic nickel titanium wire that optimizes the
movement of teeth, even badly malposed teeth, by exerting light, continuous forces over long
periods of time. These lighter forces also minimize discomfort throughout a patient’s
treatment.

The non-fatiguing archwire is easy to engage and holds its shape memory longer, saving you
chair time by requiring fewer wire changes. It will retain its shape better than earlier
generation nickel titanium wires.

Special qualities and capabilities:

  • Super elastic NiTi is provided in its austenitic (activated) phase at all times.
  • The superb rebound and memory characteristics ensure desired results without the
    need for adjustment or modification.
  • Super elastic NiTi allows for a high degree of deflection without causing deformation of the original arch form characteristics.
  • Efficiency of performance ensures achievement of objectives without need for multiple staging of arch wires as with stainless steel alternatives.
  • The highest quality FDA registered medical grade carbon free nickel titanium, providing for superior memory with minimal fracturing or breakage.
  • Our nickel titanium wires are extra smooth to avoid friction in the bracket slot, allowing for easier and more efficient treatment.
  • Archwire forms and corner radii are precisely fabricated to ensure excellent performance and predictability, especially when applying torque.
  • Proflex™ is available in Super Elastic and Thermal Activated material in Trueform and Reverse curve forms.
