Chessmile’s™ patented designs were developed by Dr. Carolina Blanco. Dr. Blanco is an orthodontist who received her professional training at the University of Carabobo in Venezuela. She earned her Orthodontics Specialist degree at the University of Campinas in Sao Paulo Brazil.
A Women's International Chess Master, Dr. Blanco has been representing her native Venezuela in international chess tournaments since the young age of eight. Dr. Blanco has had the opportunity to visit more than 35 countries around the world, winning many prestigious national and international awards along the way. Based on her masterful performance in chess competitions around the world, Dr. Blanco’s impressive resume includes “Woman’s International Chess Master” from the World Chess Federation, two time Pan-American women’s champion, and a 10-year standing among the highest ranked players in the Americas. Dr. Blanco’s inspirations and life dreams stem not only from family, but from all the exceptional people with whom she has crossed paths, both in the field of orthodontics and through the world of chess.
