About ODP

Richard Bryant – Former CEO / Board of Directors, began his employment in the orthodontic industry in 1961 as the Regional Sales Manager for Unitek.  In 1965 he began two years of service as the Vice President of Marketing for Supurba Corp, a subsidiary of Unitek.  He also served as the Vice President of Marketing for Denar Corp., a distributor of Gnathalogical dental instruments from 1967 - 1971.  He returned to Unitek in 1971 as Orthodontic Product Manager.  In 1979, Mr. Bryant joined Lancer Orthodontics as the Vice President of Marketing, and within six months was promoted to President, where he held that position for 11 years.  In 1990 he founded Vision Orthodontics, which became ODP in 1993.  Mr. Bryant retired as CEO of ODP in 2004, but is still active with the company in a consulting capacity.

ODP was founded in 1992 by industry visionary Mr. Bryant for the purpose of designing, manufacturing, and distributing high quality, affordable orthodontic appliances throughout the world. Since our inception, ODP has emerged as an industry leader respected by orthodontists, and depended on by our customers to provide a consistently high level of service.

By adapting the principles of Dentistry, Gnathology, and Orthodontics, ODP is able to provide a unique level of service unlike any other company in the industry. Our experienced design and development staff is able to quickly transform new design concepts into finished products, and orthodontists around the world regularly depend on ODP to bring their product ideas to fruition. 

We are proud to manufacture our appliances in the USA, utilizing a modern manufacturing facility in Southern California. Our CE certified products are manufactured under a quality management system that is certified to the ISO 9001:2000, ISO 13485:2003, and cGMP quality standards. This gives our customers the assurance that they will receive products that are of consistently high quality, with increased assurances that their individual needs and expectations will be met.
